North American Integration Back on the Front Burner: Washington’s North American “Security Perimeter”

In the last year, the bilateral process has been the primary means used to advance North American integration, which has drawn little attention. With the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) seemingly stalled after being exposed and discredited, the U.S. channelled trilateral negotiations to parallel bilateral discussions with both Canada and Mexico. Recent reports of a tentative Canada-U.S. security and trade agreement has once again highlighted the whole process of deep continental integration. The U.S. is formulating a strategy with the aim of implementing a North American security perimeter.

NAFTA has allowed the U.S. to further extend its political and economic influence over the continent. Through the SPP, it has evolved to include more security issues. Based on the war on drugs and the war on terrorism, the U.S. is developing a North American security strategy with the goal being to push out its security perimeter. The Merida Initiative conceived in 2007 and launched the following year by the Bush administration, signalled a new era of U.S.-Mexico security collaboration. The plan has provided Mexico with millions in funding for law enforcement, military equipment and surveillance technology. Under the pretext of combating illegal drug-trafficking and fighting transnational organized crime, the U.S. has been able to exert more authority over Mexican security policies.

It is with deep regret that we publish this report. We do not take this responsibility lightly, as the consequences of the following observations are of such great importance and have such far-reaching ramifications for the entire planet. Truly, the fate of the oceans of the world hangs in the balance, as does the future of humankind.

Iran hangs ‘Mossad spy’

Iran on Tuesday hanged a man found guilty of feeding Israeli spy agency Mossad with Iranian military secrets and information on its missile programme over a period of six years, news agency IRNA reported.

Ali Akbar Siadat was hanged in Tehran’s Evin prison after being condemned to death for “working for Mossad,” IRNA quoted the Tehran prosecutor’s office as saying.

Siadat was found guilty of having had links with Mossad for six years. “He had received 60,000 dollars to give classified information to the Zionist regime,” the state news agency said.

As Hot Money Rushes Into China, The Smart Money Is Getting The Hell Out

China has been ranked as the top growing country among the G20 since 2001 and is expected to retain that title for at least another five years (See Growth Chart). However, the news coming out of China for the past three months has not been good. It is looking more and more that it is not a question of if China is a bubble and going to burst, but when.

The country has major infrastructure issues, troubling population dynamics, poorly aligned employment outcomes, inflation problems, a real estate bubble, an opaque and potentially insolvent banking system (had mark-to-market accounting been applied), geo-political problems with North Korea and Taiwan, and an underperforming stock market in 2010 (see stock comparison chart).

Chris Matthews Wants Obama to Produce Birth Certificate

In the video here, propaganda meister and master purveyor of the false right-left paradigm, Chris Matthews, leads establishment journalists Clarence Page and David Corn in a slimy round-about denunciation of their fellow citizens who dare ask for definitive proof that Obama was born in Hawaii as claimed.

The MSNBC segment follows vows by Hawaii governor Neil Abercrombie to end the circus sideshow that was created by the establishment media around the issue. “This has to do with the people in Hawaii who love him, people who loved his mom and dad. This has to do with the respect of the office that the president is entitled to,” huffed the Democrat.

Barack Obama Sr. was an avowed Marxist connected to CIA operations in Kenya. Stanley Ann Dunham, president Obama’s mother, engaged in CIA espionage activities in Indonesia. She worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), a documented CIA front, and the globalist Ford Foundation.
